Smart #1 delivered 5,911 units in China in March, 12,697 units in first quarter

Smart, a pure EV technology brand, announced delivery figures for smart #1 in China in March this year, up 63% from the previous month. As of March 31, Smart delivered a total of 12,697 units in China in the first quarter of this year.

Since the start of deliveries at the end of September last year, smart has continued to improve its production and delivery efficiency, with a total of 21,909 units delivered in the Chinese market.

Smart #1 again ushered in OTA online upgrade, pushing smart OS 1.1.8 CN version one after another. The new smart #3 has been officially announced and will make its world debut during the 2023 Shanghai International Auto Show.

In the first quarter of this year, two new smart flagship centers were opened in Hangzhou and Guangzhou in quick succession. It is expected that by the end of this year, the total number of smart national channels will exceed 200, covering more than 60 first-tier, new first-tier and second-tier cities across China.

At the same time, smart has established 300 sales and service outlets in 13 European markets. smart #1 has been officially launched in the German market and the first batch of customers has been delivered. In addition, smart is actively exploring the new energy vehicle market in Southeast Asia, and smart Smart #1 is expected to be launched and delivered in Malaysia in the fourth quarter of 2023.
