Skyworth Auto: overseas focus on pure electric, annual sales target 40,000 units

Skyworth Automotive said this week that the upcoming challenges in the new energy vehicle circuit in 2023 are even more daunting. Skyworth Auto will continue to make efforts to adjust the domestic and international product structure according to the economic benefits in 2023, mainly selling hybrid models at home and focusing on pure electric models overseas, and will ensure the annual sales target of 40,000 units.

Data show that Skyworth Auto delivered 1,188 units in January 2023 and exported 668 units overseas; with total sales of 21,916 units in 2022, up 255.72% year-on-year.

Currently, Skyworth has Skyworth EV6, Skyworth HT-i and other models. Among them, Skyworth EV6 is positioned as a pure electric mid-size SUV, priced at RMB 16.28-28.08 million, with a 2800mm wheelbase and a maximum 620km range.

Skyworth HT-i is equipped with an HT-i hybrid system, with engine thermal efficiency of 43.1%, water heating PTC system, and 32.76KWh battery, with a pure electric range of 205km and a combined range of 1267km.
