In terms of games, sales declined compared to the same period last fiscal year, with only 440,000 copies sold, as the games released in the quarter were mainly the Switch version of “Thirteen Machine Soldiers Defense Circle” and various ports such as “Hatsune Miku: The Singer Project MEGA39’s+” for PC. Other older works sold 4.7 million copies this quarter, with total game software sales of 5.14 million copies, down significantly from the 6.58 million copies sold in the same period last fiscal year.

Sega plans to officially release its main titles after the second quarter of this year, with a number of new titles to be released in the future, including “Sonic: The Unknown Frontier,” “Soul Hacker 2” and “Goddess Xenomorph” series ports.

Sega officially released Sonic: Origins on June 23 to celebrate Sonic’s birthday. The game is available on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) platforms, and all platforms support Simplified Chinese.
