Searching for relevant moments of Apple’s press conference based on keywords, developers create AI website Context

For a variety of reasons, some people (especially journalists and media professionals) need to review various previous Apple launches. While Apple’s website certainly provides video replays of its launches, it’s often difficult to quickly pinpoint the introduction of a feature in a launch event. A group of developers created a site called Context, which allows users to quickly locate moments from Apple’s launch events by searching for keywords.

The site was developed by Context, which is an artificial intelligence (AI)-based search platform. In the site’s introduction, it says: “Find any moment you’re looking for in a vast array of audio and video content. But the developers also say the site is still in the early stages of development, but they have an ambitious plan to “revolutionize the way people discover, organize and share long-form content.

All you have to do is type in any word you want, and the platform will show you every time that word has been mentioned in an Apple event. But not only that, since the platform is based on YouTube videos, you can click on the results to watch that exact moment.

Another great feature the platform offers is a transcript of the video, so it’s easy to get quotes from the event to add to an article or social media post. On Reddit, one of the developers behind Context replied to users saying they welcome their feedback and that a “link to results” option would be added in the near future. In addition to the Apple release, users can search for keywords in videos from TED talks, MKBHD and other mainstream programs.
