Samsung’s wireless charger SmartThings Station passes FCC certification

0

Samsung has been developing a smart wireless charger called SmartThings Station. Citing foreign tech media SamMobile, the device has already passed FCC certification, listing not only the relevant specifications but also showing a picture of the SmartThings Station’s technology demo.

This image is not of the actual SmartThings Station but is meant to demonstrate the wireless charger’s radiation pattern. As you can see in the photo, there’s nothing particularly striking about the device visually. It is a black, square plate with rounded edges.

The FCC certification information indicates that the charger model number is EP-P9500, which is similar to the “EP-P” model naming convention of other Samsung wireless chargers. The document also shows that the product has Zigbee and wireless power transfer (WPT) capabilities, Bluetooth LE, and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac connectivity.
