According to foreign media Android Authority, informant Ishan Agarwal shared official pictures of the two latest folding screen models, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, on Meta’s new social platform Threads.
It can be clearly seen from one of the pictures that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 in the picture comes with a mobile phone case with a built-in pen slot for the Samsung S Pen stylus.
It was previously reported that Samsung originally planned to embed the S Pen in the new folding screen machine released this year, but due to the impact on the internal space and the thickness issue, the plan was eventually cancelled. The source said that due to the high technical threshold, the built-in S Pen itself is possible, but the phone will also become thicker, which is not worth the candle.
Of course, there is another way, which is to make the pen thinner. But in this case, the writing experience of the stylus will become worse, and the rising cost will also bring a certain burden.
