According to netizens @tarunvats33, Samsung is testing OneUI 5.1 update for three Galaxy S20 models in India, and One UI 5.1 test firmware G980FXXUFHWA1 was found on the firmware server.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 series has been pushed with the Android 13 / OneUI 5.0 system update in November last year, and it was previously speculated that the series could no longer get subsequent updates such as OneUI 5.1. But now it seems that Samsung still decided to provide a 5.1 update.

OneUI 5.1 is also based on Android 13, but will further optimize system performance to improve operational stability. At SDC 2022, Samsung showed off various new features and personalization tools. For unknown reasons, many features were not available in the One UI 5.0 update, and OneUI 5.1 will offer many new features, including a new lock screen tool.

The Galaxy S20 is initially launched with OneUI 2.1 based on Android 10. Samsung has promised 3 major updates for the phone, so OneUI 5.1 is the icing on the cake.
