Samsung will launch a phone without physical buttons, expected in Galaxy S25 series

According to exclusive information obtained by Twitter tipster @OreXda, Samsung is planning to remove the phone’s physical buttons, including the power button and volume keys, and will offer these features in software form.

However, the leak says that the design will not appear in the future Galaxy S23 or Galaxy Z Fold / Flip 5, but is planned for the Galaxy S25 series or the Korean Telecom custom version.

Several manufacturers have previously tried to remove the phone’s physical buttons, such as the Huawei Mate 30 Pro has tried to remove the volume keys, and use a touch sliding way to control the volume, but also retain the physical power button.

The 2019 Meizu Zero phone goes a step further by directly adopting a hole-less design and using pressure detection technology to achieve virtual power and volume buttons on both sides of the body, though the crowdfunding failed and there was no mass production.

Since the birth of cell phones, physical buttons are becoming less and less, and eventually, most manufacturers have only retained the power button and volume keys, which have become the current mainstream form. Do you think that no physical button phone is the future trend?
