After finalizing the release date of the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung today again issued a teaser that it will launch the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G models on January 18 in India.
Samsung India has set up a dedicated website for both Galaxy A series models with the tagline “Amp Your Awesome 5G”, which also states that the Galaxy A series will offer a superior 5G experience.
The Galaxy A34 5G is very similar to the Galaxy A33 5G, except that it bumps up the Super AMOLED display size from 6.4 inches to 6.5 inches, with a 90Hz refresh rate and full HD+ resolution.
According to rumors, the machine will use Exynos 1280 processor, 6GB / 8GB RAM, and 128GB / 256GB storage. It is expected to feature a 48-megapixel main OIS camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
The Galaxy A54 5G is expected to have a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It may have a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It’s powered by an Exynos 1380 processor, 6GB/8GB of RAM, 128GB/256GB of storage, and a 5100mAh battery.
The two phones are expected to feature in-screen fingerprint readers, stereo speakers, IP67 dust and water resistance, 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C port and 25W fast wired charging.
