Samsung announced its self-help repair program in the United States last year. Samsung partnered with iFixit to provide a formal replacement parts, tools and guides service for those who want to repair their own devices.

In addition to the Galaxy Tab S7 + tablet, the self-service repair program initially supports the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 series phones. Samsung is now expanding the program to cover more devices. Adding support for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra phones, among others, the initiative now covers Samsung laptops as well.

Samsung confirmed that the self-service repair program is being expanded to five new Galaxy devices. This includes all three models in the Galaxy S22 series. Galaxy Book Pro 15-inch and Galaxy Book Pro 360 15-inch notebook PCs are also included in the program.

iFixit remains Samsung’s partner in this program. Samsung Galaxy Book users can get seven genuine replacement parts to repair their Galaxy Book. These parts include the front and back case, battery, display, touchpad, power button with fingerprint sensor and rubber feet. iFixit also offers a repair guide. Users who want to repair their Galaxy S22 device on their own will be able to get the original charging port, back cover glass and display components from iFixit. Users can purchase these repair kits.

For official professional after-sales repairs, Samsung offers top-notch service network coverage for mobile devices in the United States. Users can conveniently schedule or repair their device online, in-store or through Samsung’s mail-in service. Samsung’s We Come to You service is also available for technicians to make in-home repairs.
