Samsung partners with Qualcomm for the 2023-24 Snapdragon E-sports Pioneer Competition

Qualcomm announced at the 2022 Snapdragon Summit held in Hawaii that Samsung will become a partner of the 2023-2024 Snapdragon Pro Series, and the Galaxy series will become the official designated machine.

This marks another milestone in the collaboration between the two companies. As part of this partnership, players in the Mobile Challenge and Mobile Masters will use Samsung’s Galaxy series of smartphones, including North America, India, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.

The Snapdragon E-sports Pioneer Tournament is jointly created by Qualcomm and ESL Gaming. It is a global integrated mobile e-sports ecosystem. Tours are held in many countries and regions around the world, and open trials are set up to challenge advancement Competition, Elite Invitational three levels of competition. The first event in the China Division spans from 2022 to 2023. There are Snapdragon E-sports Pioneer National Challenge and Snapdragon E-sports Pioneer Elite Invitational. The two competition lines have four seasons, and the total prize money for the year is expected to reach RMB 3 million , the events include “Glory of the King”, “Peace Elite”, “League of Legends Mobile Games” and “The Fifth Personality”.

“We are committed to bringing high-performance Snapdragon-powered Samsung Galaxy devices into the hands of billions of gamers around the world to foster camaraderie and competition,” said Stephanie Choi, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Marketing, Samsung Corporation.

Although officials have not confirmed which Samsung Galaxy devices will be used in the Snapdragon E-sports Pioneer competition, it should include next year’s Galaxy S23 and the following year’s Galaxy S24.
