To continue enhancing the imaging capabilities of Samsung’s flagship models, Samlover reports that Samsung plans to use a 200-megapixel sensor in the Galaxy S24 Ultra. However, Samsung will not use the existing HP1 and HP2 sensors for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but will instead redevelop a 200-megapixel sensor that will provide better overall image performance than Samsung’s existing 200-megapixel sensor.

The telephoto camera on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will also receive an upgrade, which is expected to support 150x zoom and will be equipped with a variable zoom function.
