Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 revealed: with Qualcomm Snapdragon 985 chip and 108-megapixel main camera

According to Vietnamese tech media outlet the Pixel, Samsung has started testing the Galaxy Z Fold 5, a foldable model that will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 985 5G chip. The mysterious chip uses a 4nm process and could be Samsung’s custom CPU for foldable devices.

Samsung considered adding an S Pen slot to the Galaxy Z Fold 4, but it didn’t happen due to various limitations. On the Galaxy Z Fold 5 launched this year, Samsung finally released the S Pen pen slot. Thickness is sacrificed, though, from 6.3mm to 6.5mm, and there’s also an increase in weight.

This report that another reason for the increased weight of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is a major camera upgrade. It is reported that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be equipped with a 108-megapixel main camera on the back of the fuselage.
