Galaxy Watch 5, Watch 5 Pro names emerge through Samsung Health beta

The rumors regarding Samsung’s next-generation smartwatch are at their peak. The rumors say that Samsung is going to release the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro but they won’t have the rotating bezel.  This info came to light thanks to the release of the beta version of the Health app. All the evidence suggests that the classic version will be no more.

The beta version of Samsung’s One UI 4.5 was made available to users just recently. Users will be able to test the beta version on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 but it is only available to the users who enrolled online. The surprising part is that the beta version of Samsung’s Health app contained a list of compatible devices and the list includes two new unreleased Galaxy Watch models. The Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro are listed in the beta version, although the rumors suggest Samsung will launch three iterations of the Watch5.

At the moment, this is the only evidence to go with and it points toward the fact that Samsung won’t be releasing the classic variant of the Watch 5 with a rotating bezel. Additionally, the screenshot taken from the Samsung Health beta app shows a Galaxy Watch 4 right next to the Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro.

Reportedly, the same incident happened right before the release of the Watch4 and the Watch4 Classic. A beta version of the Samsung Health app was released and the placeholders for the watches were the Galaxy Watch Active 2 and the Galaxy Watch 3.

Reports also point to another leak from earlier this week which claimed that the Watch 5 Pro won’t be launched with a rotating bezel. The rumor also disclosed that the Pro variant of the Watch 5 will come with a huge 572 mAh battery, sapphire glass, and possibly a thermometer.
