Samsung Galaxy S23 / Ultra HD back rendering exposed: new green and pink eye-catching

Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy S23 series of flagship phones in February this year, and now the Galaxy S23, S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra HD renders have leaked.

In terms of design, the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ look identical. The Galaxy S23 Ultra has a more distinctive back thanks to its more advanced rear camera and a straight-edge profile similar to the Galaxy Note flagship.

Samsung’s new color options seem to have a soft and understated elegance. The new green and pink colors may appeal to more users.

The design changes are subtle, but they will make the new series stand out and differentiate it from its predecessor. Samsung has done away with the contour-cut design of the camera module in favor of a more flush approach. The camera is slightly raised on the back panel.

This provides the device with a minimalist look and feel. It is expected that these designs will gradually permeate other Samsung flagship products.

Samsung has not yet confirmed the Unpacked 2023 launch date.

According to previous revelations, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series is expected to be fully powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips with 8GB RAM onwards. The Samsung S23 will come with a 3900mAh battery and the S23+ with a 4700mAh battery, both supporting 25W fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 will have a 6.1-inch 1080p 120Hz display and the Galaxy S23+ will have a 6.6-inch 1080p 120Hz display. Both phones will have a 32MP front-facing lens, a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 10MP telephoto lens (with 3x optical zoom) on the rear. The front features a 12MP selfie camera.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 200MP main camera on the rear, and the 200MP sensor will be an upgraded version of the ISOCELL HP1. In addition, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will also feature a 10MP telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom for portraits, and a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera. The phone can also shoot video at up to 8K 30fps.
