A new firmware update for the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 has been released in Korea with firmware version R177XXU0AWA3. According to the changelog, the new 3.06MB software update improves the charging stability of the wireless headset. The new firmware update is expected to be released in more countries worldwide in the coming days.
To update Galaxy Buds 2 to the latest firmware, open the Galaxy Wearable app and select Galaxy Buds 2 from the left hamburger menu (Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 wireless headset pushes R177 firmware update: improves charging stability). ” Headset Software Update, then click Download and Install.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Buds 2 wireless headset a year and a half ago but has yet to launch its successor. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Buds 3 wireless headset along with the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 in the second half of 2023.
