Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro wireless headphones push new firmware

Samsung previously announced that it will release a new software update for the Galaxy Bud 2 Pro that will bring 360-degree audio recording. Users will be able to use compatible Galaxy phones to capture immersive sound for the video content they create. The push has now begun.

Samsung is rolling out firmware version R510XXU0AWA5 for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. The changelog confirms the inclusion of this new feature. After updating the headset, the headset will be able to capture immersive 360-degree audio when recording video using the Samsung Camera app. This feature is only supported on Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. Devices must be running One UI 5.0. future devices will also support this feature.

This software update also adds a new “Connected Device Diagnostics” option. Each feature can be tested separately, allowing users to see if each feature of Galaxy Buds is working properly. Samsung Members and Galaxy Wearable apps must be updated to the latest version in order to use this feature.
