Samsung has significantly reduced its product lineup in China. At present, it is selling only the W-series and S-series of flagship phones in the Chinese market. Surprisingly, the South Korean tech giant has consistently sold one A-series phone in China. It is the A5x lineup. In March 2021, the company announced the Galaxy A52 5G for the Chinese market. It was succeeded by the Galaxy A53 5G in March of this year. It appears that the company is gearing up to launch the Galaxy A54 5G in the Chinese market since it has bagged approval from the 3C authority of China.

A new Samsung phone with the SM-A5460 model number has been approved by the 3C certification platform. The listing suggests that the device may support 25W fast charging.

To recall, the Galaxy A52 5G appeared in 3C’s database in January 2021 and went official in March. In the same way, the Galaxy A53 5G surfaced in 3C’s database in January 2022 before going official in March.

The Galaxy A54 5G has emerged two months earlier than its predecessors did. Hence, it appears that the A54 5G may break cover as early as January in China.

Rumors surrounding the Galaxy A54 5G will feature a 50-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. It is speculated to house a 5,100mAh battery.
