Now that Samsung has rolled out the One UI 5.0 public update for the Galaxy S22, S21, S20, Galaxy Note 20, and even the Galaxy A53, the company is expanding it to more Galaxy phones, like the Galaxy A33 5G.
Samsung is internally testing Android 13 / One UI 5.0 on the Galaxy A33 5G. The Galaxy A33 is not currently on Samsung’s list of publicly tested devices. Samsung is testing the Android 13-based Galaxy A33 update with firmware version A336EDXU4BVK1.
Samsung has announced some tentative roadmaps for the public release of Android 13 and One UI 5.0 for various Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy A33 5G.
In South Korea and Germany, Samsung expects to release One UI 5.0 for the Galaxy A33 5G by the end of this month, and in Malaysia, the Galaxy A33 5G is expected to get Android 13 in December. Therefore, the timing of the One UI 5.0 upgrade for Galaxy A33 5G varies by region.
The tentative roadmap shows that the Samsung Galaxy S20 series will get One UI 5.0 in December, but Samsung has already started pushing the Android 13 release for it in November, a bit earlier.
As for other devices, Samsung is also testing One UI 5.0 internally for the Galaxy S10 Lite.
