Samsung launched the Galaxy A14 5G last week in a number of markets including the United States and Europe, and the entry-level model will soon go on sale in India as well. PhoneEV has shared a poster for the Galaxy A14 5G India version, revealing some key information.
The Galaxy A14 5G US version uses Samsung’s own Exynos 1330 chip, while the Galaxy A14 5G European version uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 processor. The model number of the Galaxy A14 5G India version is “SM-A146B/DS”, and it is unclear which processor the Indian version will use.
The promotional poster that the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G India version uses a 6.6-inch Full HD+ PLS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 13-megapixel (F 2.0) selfie camera on the front of the fuselage, and a water drop screen design.
There are 3 cameras on the back of the fuselage, including a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. 5000mAh battery with 15W wired charging via USB type-C.
The promotional image mentions that Samsung will provide 4-year security patch updates for the Galaxy A14 5G, offering 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage combinations, 9.1mm thickness and four color variants, light green , crimson, black and silver.
The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G India variant measures 167.7 x 78.0 x 9.1mm and weighs between 201 grams and 205 grams depending on the color. The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G will be launched in March 2022 at Rs 15,999 for the base model (4GB+64GB).
