Samsung Files Trademarks for Shinebolt and Flamebolt for AI Supercomputers

Samsung Electronics recently filed an application with the Korea Intellectual Property Information Service (KIPRIS) to register two trademarks, “Shinebolt” and “Flamebolt”, for the AI supercomputer’s DRAM. DRAM.

According to the trademark documents, the two trademarks will be used for high-bandwidth DRAM modules for high-performance computing devices, artificial intelligence and supercomputing devices, and high-bandwidth DRAM for graphics cards, among others.

Kye Hyung Kyung, president of Samsung SDS, recently revealed during a lecture at KAIST that memory solutions have become increasingly important in the development of AI servers.
