Last week there was news that Samsung Lu Taiwen has conducted a thorough review of the Exynos 2400 and has now confirmed the mass production plan, starting around November 2023, and Samsung is expected to notify partner companies from April to June when more data should be leaked out.

According to digital blogger @i Ice Universe, the Exynos 2400 CPU has been confirmed to feature a quad-cluster 10-core design, including 1x Cortex-X4 + 2x Cortex-A720 (high frequency) + 3x Cortex-A720 (low frequency) + 4x Cortex-A520.

It was also previously reported to be 30% larger than the Exynos 2200 at around 130mm2, almost as big as Apple’s M1. Early samples of the chip allegedly had to be downconverted to the Cortex-X4 core, but that could change in mass production.

Little information is available on which manufacturing process the Exynos 2400 will use, though rumors suggest Samsung’s 4LPP+ process. As for whether the latest 3nm will be used.

According to Korean insider Vampire King, the Exynos 2400 AI performance is expected to be 44 TOPS, close to the 45 TOPS of the Windows on Arm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 4.
