Samsung Exynos 2400 chip specifications exposed: With ten-core CPU, Xclipse 940 GPU

According to foreign technology media SamLover, reliable source Revegnus shared detailed specifications of Samsung’s Exynos 2400 chip. The screenshots attached to his tweets reconfirmed the previous revelations.

According to the screenshots, the Exynos 2400 chip will be mass-produced using Samsung’s 4-nanometer SF4P process, with a 1+2+3+4 deca-core design. The CPU information is attached as follows:

 1 ARMv9 Cortex-X4 core at 3.1GHz

 2 ARMv9 Cortex-A720 cores at 2.9GHz

 Three 2.6GHz ARMv9 Cortex-A720 cores

 Four 1.8GHz ARMv9 Cortex-A520 cores

The GPU is Samsung’s Xclipse 940, based on AMD’s RDNA 2 architecture, with 6 processor working groups (WGP), each with 2 computing units (CU), and 12 CUs, which is equivalent to 768SP, 48TMU and 32ROP.

The screenshot information also shows that the Exynos 2400 chip supports UFS 4.0 storage, 8.5Gbps LPDDR5X memory with a bandwidth of 68.26GB per second, supports up to 320 million pixel image signal processor (ISP), and supports up to 60fps 8K video recording.
