Samsung applies for Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Glass trademarks

Samsung recently submitted an application to the South Korean regulator to register two trademarks, “Galaxy Ring” and “Galaxy Glass”. This indicates that Samsung may launch smart rings and smart glasses this year.

Dutch tech outlet Galaxy Club reported last October that Samsung was developing a mixed reality headset device in-house; earlier this month, new certification information revealed it was a standalone eyewear device with its own battery.

Samsung filed a trademark application for “Galaxy Glass” with South Korean regulators on Feb. 22, and the trademark description indicates that the name is used for “virtual reality experience headset” and “smart glasses The trademark description indicates that the name is used for “virtual reality experience headset” and “smart glasses”.
