Samsung recently admitted that after the Galaxy phone was upgraded to the OneUI 5.1 system, the lock screen did not work properly.

Samsung users mainly reported that the screen would freeze or suddenly enter the lock screen state during use, and a black screen would appear when the user unlocked it later.

Samsung acknowledged the above issues and said it is releasing an update to fix the lock screen bug. Samsung says affected users can check for available updates, and the bug is fixed after upgrading to the new version.

Open the Settings app on your Galaxy smartphone, scroll down, and tap the “Software Update” option, then tap the “Download and Install” option to install the latest version.
