Pikmin is a real-time strategy video game designed by Shigeru Miyamoto and developed by Nintendo, the first generation of which was released in 2001. The game has earned a good reputation for its unique creativity and is widely acclaimed by players.
Nintendo announced a new title in the series, Pikmin 4, last September, but only said it would be released in 2023. An existing third-party retailer (Game Explorers) has given a possible release date for Pikmin 4 — May 26th!
It is worth mentioning that May 26 happens to be Friday, and Nintendo usually releases first-party games on Friday. For example, “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” is scheduled for May 12.
It is worth mentioning that last week it was also revealed that Nintendo will hold a Nintendo Direct, which may reveal more news about Pikmin 4. After all, Shigeru Miyamoto is in the September 2022 Nintendo Direct mentioned Pikmin 4 will come to Nintendo Switch in 2023.
