The average size of global LCD TV panels will increase from 46.1 inches in 2022 to 47.9 inches in the first half of 2023.
According to the report, in the first half of this year, the total shipments of TV panel factories in mainland China reached 81.45 million pieces, and their share in the global market reached a record high of 70%, an increase of 2.7 percentage points from the same period last year and an increase of 3.5 from the previous month. percentage point. The right to speak in the global LCD TV panel industry has been completely transferred to mainland Chinese manufacturers.
The establishment of the right to speak of mainland panel makers mainly benefited from the gradual withdrawal of Korean panel makers starting last year. In the first half of the year, the total shipments of Japanese and Korean panel makers both fell by about 40% year-on-year, and the combined market share was only 9.7%. The same period last year fell sharply by 4.9 percentage points, and the chain also dropped by 6.4 percentage points.
The only leading manufacturer in the industry (annual shipment of more than 60 million pieces) is BOE (BOE). It will ship approximately 29.3 million units in the first half of 2023, a year-on-year decrease of 7.8%. However, the market share increased to 25.2%, a slight increase of 0.2 and 0.7 percentage points year-on-year, ranking first in the global large-size LCD TV panel industry. The general annual shipment of the neck camp is 40-50 million pieces. These include CSOT (China Star Optoelectronics), HKC (Huike), and Innolux (Innolux), and the rankings of the three panel makers are stable.

It is noticed that the report also stated that in the first quarter of 2023 in the Chinese TV market, the market share of 65 inches has surpassed 55 inches, becoming the largest size. By June 2023, the average size of the complete machine market in China has exceeded 60 inches.
