Redmi Pad launched in India: 2K 90Hz high refresh screen, sweeps the thousand RMB market

Redmi’s first tablet, the Redmi Pad, has been launched in India, featuring a metal unibody design with a large 10.61-inch screen on the front, priced from INR 14,999 (about Rs 1,300). the Redmi Pad’s screen is the main selling point of the device, with a 2K LCD screen with a resolution of 2000×1200, a refresh rate of 90Hz, 400nits brightness, NTSC color gamut of 70%, built-in SGS eye protection and TUV Rheinland certification.

At its core, the tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, built on TSMC’s 6nm process with an integrated ARM Mali G57 MC2 CPU, but does not support 5G connectivity.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Pad comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera that can record video in FHD resolution and an 8-megapixel lens on the front for video chat.

In addition, the tablet has a built-in 8000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, four speakers with Dolby Atmos support and Bluetooth 5.3, and dual-band Wi-Fi.

The Redmi Pad is available in three variants: a 3GB+64GB version priced at INR 14,999 (approximately RMB 1,300), a 4GB+128GB version at INR 17,999 (approximately RMB 1,570), and a 6GB+128GB version at INR 19,999 (approximately RMB. 1,740), and is available in Graphite Grey, Moonlight Silver and Mint Available in Graphite Grey, Moonlight Silver and Mint Green.
