Redmi Note 12 is highly positioned, with a top-of-the-range main camera and fast charging

Each generation of the Redmi Note series has received a lot of praise for its value for money, so many users have been looking forward to the next generation of the series, the new Redmi Note 12 series, which will, unsurprisingly, still offer a wide range of models and still focus on The Redmi Note 12 series will, not surprisingly, be available in a variety of models, still with a strong focus on value for money, and as the launch draws nearer, there are already a lot of leaks coming out so far. Now digital bloggers have brought more details about the camera in terms of imaging.

According to the latest information released by digital blogger @DigitalChat, the new Redmi Note 12 will not only debut with MediaTek’s Tiangui 1080 chip, but it will also focus on fast charging and imaging and will be in the top tier of its class. The camera will have a 50-megapixel camera module on the rear, with a sensor size of around 1/1.5 inches, but it is not clear what the exact specifications will be, or whether it will support OIS optical stabilization. However, Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group China and general manager of the Redmi brand, said that he has already “started changing the PPT”, which means that the camera will be officially announced soon and will be available to everyone.

The new Redmi Note 12 series will be powered by the MediaTek Skyguard 1080 chip, a 6nm TSMC process with an octa-core CPU architecture, including two 2.6GHz Arm Cortex-A78 cores and an Arm Mali-G68 GPU, with a Rabbit score of 500,000 to 550,000. This is in the same league as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G series. There will be three 50 million cameras on the rear, including a 50 million main camera, 8 million ultra-wide angles, and a 2 million secondary camera, and 120W wired fast charging will be standard across the range, with the top version even expected to support 180W (17V 10.5A) and even 210W (20V-10.5A) fast charging.

As previously predicted, the new Redmi Note 12 series is expected to start warming up this week and be available for purchase as early as next week, with the starting price still expected to be between RMB 1,000 to RMB 2,000. We’ll see what happens when we get more details.
