Foreign technology media GSMChina recently published a blog post to share information about the Redmi K70 Ultra (the overseas version is called Xiaomi 14T Pro) phone, which is expected to be released in August/September this year.
The outlet found traces of the Xiaomi 14T Pro in the IMEI database with model numbers “2407FPN8EG” and “2407FPN8ER.” The first model number represents the global version of the device, while the other represents the Japanese version. The new smartphone will be launched in several regions including Japan.
The Redmi K70 Ultra phone model sold in China is “2407FRK8EC”. Although there may be some differences between the two phones, they are very similar overall.
According to the information displayed on Mi Code, the internal codename of Xiaomi 14T Pro / Redmi K70 Ultra is “rotko”. The codename of the Redmi K series is usually the name of the artist. Mark Rothko is an American painter, known as one of the most important representatives of “color field painting” or “late painterly abstraction”.
Citing the media report that Xiaomi 14T Pro / Redmi K70 Ultra phones will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chip, and are expected to have minor improvements in cameras and other aspects. Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi K70 Ultra phone in August this year, followed by the Xiaomi 14T Pro in overseas markets.
