Redmi officially announced the Redmi K70 universe’s first batch equipped with the third generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, claiming to challenge the strongest performance of the same platform, released next month.
A few days ago, Redmi K70 series three models passed 3C certification, one of them support 90W fast charging and the other two models support up to 120W fast charging.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s CPU peak performance is 30% higher than its predecessor, energy efficiency is 20% higher, and power consumption for the same performance is 34% lower; GPU peak performance is 35% higher, power consumption for the same performance is 38% lower, graphics rendering speed is 25% higher, energy efficiency is 25% higher, and it supports hardware ray tracing, the Unreal 5 engine, the Adreno Frame Motion Engine 2.0 frame insertion technology and 240 FPS gaming. The first OEMs with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will include Asus, Honor, iQOO, Meizu, Azera, Nubia, OnePlus, OPPO, realme, Redmi, Red Magic, Sony, Vivo, Xiaomi, Samsung, and ZTE.
