The Redmi K60 series will be unveiled at the end of this month, with a core configuration that is “one step up” from its predecessor, according to digital blogger @DigitalChat. The Redmi K60E corresponds to the K50, the K60 to the K50 Pro, and the K60 Pro to the K50G.
The blogger revealed that the Redmi K60 series is aimed at being the king of performance in the three price segments and that the Xiaomi 13 series is already well-tuned.
As the latest flagship processor of Snapdragon, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 adopts a 4nm process and a new 1+2+2+3 architecture, including a 3.2GHz Cortex-X3-based Kryo super core, four 2.8GHz performance cores (2×Cortex A715+2×Cortex A710) and three 2.0GHz Cortex-A510 energy cores.
In the beginning of this month, Xiaomi Group partner, President of China and International Division, Redmi brand general manager Lu Weibing said that the first batch of the new K60 universe cup type “K60E” is equipped with the new flagship core of Tiangui 8200. The Mali-G610 hexa-core GPU is on board.
The Redmi K60 series is currently 3C certified, with only one supporting 120W fast charging and the other two supporting 67W.
