Redmi configures an entry-level Pad Powered by MediaTek G99

With the rise of the mobile office, more and more people are using tablets to handle their daily work, and major manufacturers are trying to get a piece of the action, with Redmi also entering the tablet market soon. The Redmi Pad is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, a 6nm processor released by MediaTek in May this year, which can be seen as an upgraded version of the previous G96 and G95.

The Redmi Pad is said to feature a 10.61-inch 2K (2000*1200p) LCD screen with 90Hz high refresh support and 400nits brightness.

In terms of core configuration, the tablet has a built-in 8000mAh battery, supports an 18W/22.5W charger, has 8MP front and rear cameras, and runs the Android 12-based MIUI 13 For Pad OS.

The Redmi Pad is a unibody metal design with a thickness of about 7.05mm, weighing about 445g and equipped with Dolby Quad speakers.

In terms of configuration, the Redmi Pad is positioned in the entry-level market and is expected to be priced between 1000-1300, mainly for online classes and video usage scenarios. This Redmi tablet is currently in the network both at home and overseas.
