Redmi 12 5G Phone Officially Announced World Premiere on August 1

Xiaomi Redmi India officially announced today that the Redmi 12 5G phone will make its global debut in India on August 1st.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi 12 mobile phone in June this year, which uses a 6.79-inch FHD + resolution LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The Redmi 12 has a front-facing 8MP centered single-camera, and a rear-mounted 50MP+8MP+2MP triple-camera.

In terms of hardware configuration, Redmi 12 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G88 chip, which only supports 4G network, and provides a 4/8GB+128/256GB storage combination, and supports microSD card expansion. The battery capacity of the machine is 5000mAh, supports 18W fast charging and side fingerprint recognition, and is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The 8GB+128GB version of the Redmi 12 mobile phone is priced at 5,299 baht in Thailand (currently about RMB 1,107), and it is rumoured that its listing price in Europe will be 199 euros (currently about RMB 1,574).

According to the official page information, the appearance and configuration of the Redmi 12 5G mobile phone are basically the same as those of the Redmi 12, including a 50MP main camera, 8GB+256GB storage combination, 5000mAh battery, etc.

In addition, according to Geekbench information, the processor of the Redmi 12 5G may be the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, and whether there are other differences between the machine and the Redmi 12 other than the processor remains to be officially announced.
