There have been rumors circulating that the Red Magic 7S and Red Magic 7S Pro are in the works. On the 3C certification platform in China, both phones have been spotted with NX679S and NX709S model numbers in May. The two devices have now been granted certification by the TENAA, which is China’s equivalent of the FCC. All of the information that has been available about the Red Magic 7S and 7S Pro as a result of their TENAA certifications is presented here.

Red Magic 7S and Red Magic 7S Pro Specifications (rumored)

Both the Red Magic 7S and 7S Pro include a 6.8-inch OLED display that is capable of displaying images at a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, making it suitable for use with Full HD+ content. The Red Magic 7S duo will be an incremental upgrade over the Red Magic 7 and 7 Pro, which were released earlier this year. The Red Magic 7 and 7 Pro are capable of supporting a refresh rate of either 120Hz or 165Hz, respectively. As a result, it is quite probable that their improved editions, which are expected to debut as early as this month, will also provide the same refresh rate.

Red Magic 7 and Red Magic 7 Pro

It seems that the Red Magic 7S and 7S Pro are powered by the same octa-core processor running at 3.2GHz. It is possible that both devices will ship with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. This is the most likely scenario. It is anticipated that both devices would ship with 8 GB, 12 GB, 16 GB, or 18 GB of RAM respectively.

The base model of the 7S series will have storage capacities of 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB, while the Pro version will have an additional storage capacity option of 1 TB. Both devices will ship with the Android 12 operating system, which will be overlaid with the Red Magic UI.

The battery capacity of the vanilla model will be 4,500 mAh, while the battery capacity of the Pro model will be 5,000 mAh. At 3C, one of the phones was seen being charged with a 165W charger. On the other hand, vanilla might have significantly slower charging speeds in comparison to the Pro model. This is something that is possible.

Both of these phones will include a triple camera setup with a resolution of 64MP located on the back panels. According to the listings on TENAA, the front cameras on both phones feature an 8MP resolution. On the other hand, the Pro model might come with an under-display selfie camera that has 16MP, much like the Red Magic 7 Pro does.
