According to Realme’s official release, and Google’s cooperation to bring the second version of Realme UI based on Android 14 Developer Preview, the version is currently adapted to the Realme GT2 Pro phone, before participating in the experience, please carefully read the relevant notes, and then brushed as required.

Realme reminds you that Android 14 Beta 1 is a developer-oriented version of Android, still in the early stages of development, and may not provide a stable enough user experience, unless you are a developer, it is not recommended that you brush into this ROM; some applications may not work properly, this includes Google apps and third-party apps; the system may not have all the built-in features of Android.

The following are known issues:

  1. The upgrade will delete all user data.
  2. Some system features are not available.
  3. Some interface displays may look less than ideal.
  4. Some applications may not work properly or may not be fully functional.
  5. There may be some stability issues with the system.

Android 14 Beta will enhance the user experience with a number of upgrades in the areas of privacy, security, performance and user customization. Devices with the Android 14 operating system will not be able to install apps developed for versions below Android 6 (target Sdk Version<23), an improvement that will prevent malware attempts and protect user security and privacy.

The latest Android 14 also introduces optimizations that significantly extend battery life and longevity by intelligently managing background tasks, downloads, uploads and various system processes to improve system efficiency, thereby reducing power consumption and providing longer-lasting battery performance.

In addition, Android 14 meets accessibility needs by providing larger fonts and smarter scaling options, with a non-linear scaling curve strategy that intelligently adjusts the scaling of different text sizes, striking a balance between preventing the over-scaling of large elements while maintaining the ratio between elements of different sizes.
