Reports have revealed that Realme is working on the GT Neo 5 SE (aka GT Neo 5 Lite) handset for the Chinese market. It is believed that the Realme phone with model number RMX3700 which was recently certified by the 3C authority will break cover as the GT Neo 5 SE. Now, the same device has bagged approval from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in the home market. These certifications show that it will not take too long for the device to go official.

The Realme GT Neo 5 SE’s MIIT certification has no information on its specifications. It only mentions that it is a 5G-enabled device. The previously seen 3C certification of the device revealed that it may arrive with support for 100W charging.

Previous reports have revealed that the Realme GT Neo 5 SE will arrive with a 6.74-inch OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution of 2722 x 1240 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is likely to feature a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

The upcoming Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 1 chipset is likely to power the GT Neo 5 SE. The device may pack a 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging.

The device will run on ColorOS 13-based Android 13 OS. Its rear panel will have a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64M main camera, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel GalaxyCore macro camera. Speculations are rife that the device will launch in April.
