Realme is expected to unveil the Realme GT 5 this month in China. By the end of the year, the company will unveil the Realme GT 5 Pro. Tipster DCS has been sharing the key details of the GT 5 Pro for the past few days. Today, too, he revealed some vital details about its battery and charging capabilities.

Like the other Android flagship phones that are expected to launch later this year, the Realme GT 5 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Being a premium model, the device will arrive with a high-quality AMOLED display with curved edges. The screen is said to support 2K resolution.

Previous leaks have revealed that the Realme GT 5 Pro will be the company’s first phone to feature a periscope zoom camera. It will have an OmniViision OV64B periscope camera, which will be joined by a Sony IMX9-series main camera and an ultra-wide snapper. Today, he revealed that the device will pack a 5,400mAh battery with 100W charging.

He also revealed that the GT 5 Pro will support the UFCS charging standard. It will also be the company’s first smartphone to support wireless charging, which will work at 50 watts.

The Realme GT 5 Pro appears eerily similar to the OnePlus 12, which is expected to debut around the same time. In the comments section of the Weibo post, DCS claimed that the OP12 will have a better heat dissipation system and customizations than the GT 5 Pro.
