Razer was the first to achieve an 8000Hz polling rate among high-end wired gaming mice in 2021, raising the bar for mouse accuracy and responsiveness.

Razer announced today that it will further unlock Wireless HyperPolling limitations in the future by way of firmware upgrades, increasing the existing 4000Hz polling rate to 8000Hz and taking the lead in expanding it to six models of high-end wireless gaming mice.

The polling rate refers to how often a device sends data to the computer. The higher the value, the more frequently data is sent per second. When used with a high refresh rate monitor, you get lower latency and smoother visuals.

Razer said in a press release, will be before November 10 this year, that 6 models of high-end wireless gaming mouse launched a free firmware update, so as to realize the 8,000Hz polling rate,
