The new Snapdragon 7 series SoC (SM7475) has been revealed by @RolandQuandt, a tipster, to be testing a new Snapdragon 7 series SoC with a “1+3+4” triple-cluster design, which doesn’t seem to be much different from its predecessor’s specs so far, probably Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 or Snapdragon 7 + Gen 1. + Gen 1.

The chip is described as consisting of one mega core, three large cores and four small cores, using Qualcomm Kryo Prime, Gold and Silver core architectures respectively, with the mega and large cores clocked at around 2.4GHz and the small cores at around 1.8GHz.

The Kryo Prime and Gold cores are likely to be based on the ARM Cortex-A715 or A710 modifications, while the Silver core is based on the Cortex A510 core if nothing else. Overall, only the large cores are slightly more frequent than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, and so far they don’t seem to be much different from their predecessors.
