Qualcomm previews Snapdragon 7 series chips: focus on superior performance

Qualcomm previously announced that it will hold a new Snapdragon mobile platform launch on March 17. It is expected to bring a new SM7475 chip, which is the new Snapdragon 7 series chip.

Today Qualcomm brought a new preview message for the chip, which is “superior performance that exceeds expectations” and “high energy and low power consumption that exceeds expectations”.

The SM7475 chip was previously thought to be Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 or Snapdragon 7 Gen 2, but there may be a new name for it this time, with a 2.92GHz super core + three 2.5GHz large cores + four 1.8GHz small cores and an Adreno 730 GPU, making it the “Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Youth Edition”. The realme GT Neo5 SE is a “Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Youth Edition”.

According to the realme GT Neo5 SE cell phone score, SM7475 chip based on TSMC 4nm process, Rabbit comprehensive run score of 1029731 points, more than the Dimensity 8200.

The SM7475 chip’s Geekbench 5 runtime score is 1232 points for single core and 4095 points for multi-core. (The runtime score is higher than the Dimensity 8200 and comparable to the Dimensity 9000.)
