Nothing CEO Pei Yu previously stated that the Nothing Phone (2) will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series chips.

Alex Katouzian, senior vice president and general manager of Qualcomm’s mobile, computing and XR business unit, congratulated Yu Pei and his team on LinkedIn, revealing that the Nothing Phone 2 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. Although he immediately deleted the post, it was still discovered by 91mobiles.

Pei Yu previously said that the Nothing Phone (2) will be launched in the United States and is expected to be available in the third quarter of this year, between July and September.

Unlike the mid-range Nothing Phone (1), the Nothing Phone (2) will be more high-end. In the international market, the new phone will face competition from flagship models such as the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, OnePlus 11, Mi 13/Pro series, etc.

The Nothing Phone (2) will be equipped with 12GB+256GB storage, a 120Hz OLED display and a 5000mAh battery. It’s not clear if it will also feature a transparent back design and retain the Glyph LED.
