In the third quarter of this year (Q3), Qualcomm and MediaTek launched the Snapdragon 8+ and the Demensity 9000+, two flagship chips with a “+” respectively, and also brought some performance improvements. Today, Master Lu released its Q3 2022 mobile chip performance list, and according to the data, the Demensity 9000+ narrowly edged out the Snapdragon 8+ to top the list.

In terms of specific runtime data, the Snapdragon 8+ has an average CPU section score of 340,706, while the Demensity 9000+ has a stronger CPU runtime score of 352,717.

However, in the GPU section, the Snapdragon 8+ scored 516,004 points to outperform the Demensity 9000+’s 513,668 points, pulling back a win.

Overall, both the Snapdragon 8+ and the Demensity 9000+ bring significant performance improvements over the original, and the comparison between the two, while there are some differences, is quite close.

It is also worth mentioning that the Snapdragon 870, the “U of the generation”, even outperforms the Snapdragon 888+, which has higher theoretical parameters and is close to the Snapdragon 888+, which is also very interesting from the point of view of the list.
