The player Sebastian Castellanos dug into the preloaded files of the “Starfield” game and found only files supporting AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0 (FSR 2), but did not find any DLLs involving NVIDIA DLSS and Intel XeSS technologies document.

It was previously reported that Bethesda Game Executive Director Todd Howard confirmed that “Starfield” is based on the Creation 2 engine and will support AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2 technology, and the game will be able to take full advantage of AMD multi-core CPUs. The game doesn’t appear to be enjoying any specific PC ray tracing effects and doesn’t support NVIDIA DLSS 2 or DLSS 3.

The capacity of the game on the two platforms has been announced. The current preloaded version will occupy 139.84GB of hard disk space on the PC platform, while the size of the Xbox version of the game is 126.1GB. The preloaded version on the Steam platform will be available on August 30. Starting today, “Starfield” will finally be officially released on September 6, landing on the Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms, and joining Game Pass for the first time. Players who purchase the premium version can enter the game 5 days in advance (on September 1).
