Recently, the 2 millionth vehicle of Porsche Leipzig factory officially rolled off the production line. What rolled off the production line was a brand new Porsche Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid. The Porsche Leipzig factory was officially put into production on August 20, 2002 and has a history of 21 years. The models it produces include classic models such as Macan, Cayenne, Panamera and super sports car Carrera GT.

The new Porsche Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid model that rolled off the production line this time was previously released on November 24 and will be launched in China in the future. The headlight outline of the new car has become sharper, and the internal light group structure has also been adjusted to look more technological. The lower bumper has been given a new look, and a slender air inlet has been added above the license plate, visually forming a big mouth. Silver “fangs” have also grown on both sides of the front of the car, making the entire front of the car look more fierce. .

There really aren’t many changes on the side, except for the slight adjustments made to the rear small window line and side skirt shape. The rear also retains a large number of classic design elements from the second-generation model, including a three-section unfolded or hidden electric tail wing, a window-style through-taillight with a brand logo, all of which are highly recognizable. However, compared to the rounder and smoother surface treatment of the second generation, the rear surface of the third generation car is more complex and has more diverse levels.

Looking at the interior, the new car adopts Porsche’s latest family-style design style, using a 12.6-inch full LCD curved screen instrument with a suspended design, but the interior still continues the classic 5-link dial design. The multi-function steering wheel integrates a large number of physical buttons for easy operation, reflecting the driver-centered brand concept. The center console area is still the familiar Porsche style, and the electronic gear lever has been transplanted next to the center control screen. In addition, the new car is also equipped with through-type ambient lighting for the first time, and the storage space has also been increased.

In terms of power, the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid is equipped with a hybrid system composed of a 4.0T V8 + 140 kW P2 motor. The total system power can reach 680 horsepower (500 kilowatts). The transmission system is matched with an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Porsche has completely integrated the motor and gearbox, thereby achieving a weight optimization of about 5 kilograms. In addition, the battery capacity has been increased to 25.9kWh, and the WLTP standard pure electric range has been further extended to more than 90 kilometers.
