Porsche Macan EV is about to make its debut, with a range of over 500 kilometers

Porsche recently released a set of official spy photos of the new pure electric Macan EV. This car is Porsche’s first newly developed model based on the pure electric platform PPE. The Macan EV will be equipped with a dual-motor power system with a maximum power of more than 450kW and a peak torque of 1,000Nm. Thanks to the 800V PPE architecture, the car supports DC fast charging up to 270kW. Thanks to a new generation motor, platform and an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.25Cd, the Macan EV’s maximum range will easily exceed 500 kilometers.

Macan EV continues Porsche’s sporty genes, and the driving experience will remain similar to the fuel version. “When developing the Macan EV, Porsche always put the brand’s typical driving dynamics and familiar steering feel at the forefront,” said Porsche. “As a manufacturer focused on sports cars, these core competencies were the focus of our testing.”

In addition to its on-road performance, the Macan EV also boasts outstanding off-road capabilities. The new vehicle has undergone 3.5 million kilometers of real-world testing, covering a variety of extreme temperature environments on multiple continents. Jörg Kerner, Vice President of the Macan EV Product Line: “Of course, an SUV must also be able to drive on any road surface. The price of the Macan EV has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be higher than the existing fuel version.
