Reason for recall:

Some Polestar 4s within the scope of this recall may trigger brake control degradation due to brake controller software problems, resulting in the failure of functions such as electronic brake assist, weakened braking performance, and potential safety hazards. If the user encounters a vehicle instrument indicating a brake system failure, it is recommended to keep a safe distance from the vehicle and increase the brake pedal force when braking.

Solution:

Polestar Auto Sales Co., Ltd. will use vehicle remote upgrade (OTA) technology to upgrade software for Polestar 4 within the recall scope for free; for vehicles that cannot be upgraded through OTA technology, Polestar Auto Sales Co., Ltd. will proactively contact relevant users to provide Vehicles are upgraded free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
