Japanese tech manufacturing company Sony could be planning to launch a PlayStation PC launcher. The possibility of this launch is made firm due to its references that are present in files of the Spider-Man Remastered for PCs. Our sources deduce that this launch will likely happen since Sony is planning on integrating more of its games to PCs.

Currently, PlayStation network accounts are not compatible with any Sony PC games. But, there is a chance that Sony is working on a possible integration of its games on the PC. This will be possible by linking a PlayStation network account with PCs via Sony’s channel.

This simply means that gamers who use both a PlayStation and a PC will be able to cross-collaborate on both platforms. All progress a player with a PlayStation network account makes while gaming on the console will automatically sync with their PC. So carrying off games on a PC where one left them on their PlayStation will be possible if Sony makes a PlayStation PC launcher available.

Our sources see the possibility of this PlayStation PC launcher being the official store for Sony games on PCs. This store will help gamers directly download Sony PlayStation games instead of buying digital copies from Epic or Steam. If this PlayStation PC launcher becomes available, Sony might not restrict its games to PCs alone but extend them to other platforms. This will enable them to compete with Microsoft for the crown in the gaming console market.
