Pixelmator Pro 3.3 for macOS released: enhanced video editing features

0

Pixelmator Pro for macOS has been updated to version 3.3, which improves video editing functions and optimizes the shadow and highlight tools.

Pixelmator Pro initially added video editing capabilities in a version update released last December. In the Pixelmator Pro 3.3 Mosaic update released today, further enhancements have been made to the video editing capabilities. Users can import, open or drag in video files and tweak them just as easily as they do with images.

The new version also introduces the Remove Color tool, which allows users to select any color on an image and then remove it from the entire photo. But its main use is for videos, especially for removing green screens.

This update focuses on enhancing the video editing features, in addition to adding a feature called sidecar to the image editing. Now, when users save a JPEG file, they will also save another file called sidecar.

This sidecar file contains all the details of the edit, so images and sidecar files can be added or undone by loading them back into Pixelmator Pro.

Existing Pixelmator Pro users can get this update for free. New users can visit the Mac App Store to purchase it for $49.99 (currently about RMB 347).
