Japan is a few hours ahead of most of the world, but we’re pretty sure that even with the time difference, now is not the time to unveil the Pixel Watch. Even so, Japanese online store Joshin Web has already announced various color options for the upcoming watch. All of them come with a steel case (usually polished, but there are some matte options) and a movable strap.
The online store quickly hid the content after discovering it had leaked itself, but leaker Roland Quandt saved a series of copies, and here are some side views of the watches in different colorways. The colors are a matte black/obsidian combo, a champagne gold/hazelnut combo, and a silver/chalk white combo.
The Pixel Watch will come in at least two types of straps – Active (made of silicone) and Woven (made of recycled polyester).
Amazon UK has also quietly revealed their prices, £50 for the Sport strap and £60 for the Woven strap. That may not be all, another leak suggests that leather straps may also be coming, which would give the watch a different look.
According to unconfirmed information, the Pixel Watch (Wi-Fi) will cost £340 (€380 in mainland Europe). There will also be a version with LTE for a slightly higher price (guessing £40/€50).
This price was found by @Pytt, who also found these Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro cases on Amazon NL. Green materials are a selling point for Google accessories, as these cases have at least 30% recycled materials in them.
The Pixel 7 phones, Pixel Watch, and more will be unveiled on October 6, and pre-orders are expected to begin immediately thereafter.
